Darwin Festival (14 – 31 August 2008)

The much-anticipated Darwin Festival has kicked off, running for 18 days and nights until the end of August.

The festival features free outdoor events, theatre, dance, music, cabaret, films, workshops and comedy with some 70 productions, 112 events and performances and more than 1 000 international, national and Territory artists and cultural groups.

The Northern Territory Government supports the Darwin Festival, which reflects the Indigenous, Asian and Pacific cultures of the region and supports the Territory’s profile as a vibrant, multicultural destination.
